Last night was the first time I turned down a guy and told him ” I’m a lesbian”. I was terrified and drunk. However, instead of running away and ignoring me for the rest of the night like I thought he would. He made sure nothing happened to me, walked me home ensuring I didn’t fall, and held my hair back when I threw up. I thanked him profusely and gave him a huge hug. Before he left he asked me one question. standing in the door he said ” what makes you like women” I smiled, and replied with “the same thing that makes you like women”. I think I just made a new friend.
